The present paper employs supported ruthenium nanoparticles alongside catalytic quantities of the radical initiator, which are proven to be capable cyclooctene oxidation with green conditions, in absence solvent, air as main oxidant and without sacrificial reductant. examines effects a range initiators how products distributed over time. Furthermore, addresses reaction pathways epoxides allylic alcohol, latter being primary by-product, whilst also analysing impact technique synthesis, time, various supports. Catalyst activity can markedly improved by adopting sol-immobilisation synthesise catalysts, retention selectivity epoxide.
